Day 1:

  • Overnight flight Madrid, Spain

Day 2:

  • Arrive In Madrid

  • Walk through Retiro Park and ride the row boats

  • Visit the National Museum del Prado

  • See the Plaza Major and Puerto del Sol

  • Enjoy a fun evening of dinner and a Flamenco show

 

Day 3:​

  • Take a day trip to Toledo

  • Tour the Alcazar

  • Visit the Army Museum

  • See the exhibits of the El Greco Museum

  • Return to Madrid

 

Day 4:

  • Visit the Royal Palace

  • Visit the Temple de Debod

  • In the afternoon, take the AVE fast train to Barcelona

Day 5:

  • Take a tour of Gaudi's "modernist" Barcelona

  • Visit Park Guell

  • See La Sagrada Familia, a large unfinished Roman Catholic church designed by Gaudi

Day 6:

  • Visit the Picasso Museum

  • Stroll through Las Ramblas and Barri Gotic

  • Tour the modernist architecture of Palau de la Musica designed by architect Lluis Domenech | Montaner

 

Day 7:

  • Depart for home
