Day 1:

• Overnight flight to Italy

 

Day 2:

• Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel

• Have an overview tour of Rome

Day 3:

• Spend the day touring Rome

• Visit the Baths of Caracalla

• Tour the Colosseum and the Roman Forum

• Visit the Palantine

 

Day 4:

• Enjoy a day trip to Tivoli by bus

• Stop at the Catacombs de Saint Agnese

• Arrive in Tivoli and visit the ancient ruins of Villa Adrianna and Villa d’Este

• Return to Rome

 

Day 5:

• Spend the day in Ostia Antica to see the ruins of Rome’s ancient seaport

• Visit the arena, and see the remains of docks, warehouses, mansions, shopping areas and baths

• Visit Ostia’s small museum to see statues and surviving frescoes

 

Day 6:

• Tour Vatican City

• In the morning, visit Saint Peter’s Square and Saint Peter’s Basilica

• In the afternoon, see the famous Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums

 

Day 7:

• Spend the day touring Rome

• Visit the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain

• See the Borghese Art Gallery, visit Piazza Navona and go to the Pantheon

 

Day 8: 

• Go to the airport for your flight home
