A Starting Point Itinerary

Day 1:

  • Overnight flight to Munich, Germany

Day 2:

  • Arrive and check into hotel

  • Have an overview tour of Munich

  • Visit the Dachau Concentration Camp

 

Day 3:​

  • Travel by bus to see the "Mad King" Ludwig's Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau

  • Continue on to Baden Wurttemburg
  • Check into your hotel in the Stuttgart area

Day 4:

  • Spend the day touring Stuttgart

  • Visit the historical Wurttemburg State Museum housed in an Old Castle

  • Visit the Mercedes Benz Museum

Day 5:

  • Spend the day in Baden Baden

  • Hike to Burg Hohenbaden and tour the castle ruins on a hill in the Black Forest

  • Visit the ruins of the Roman Baths

  • See the Trinkhalle in the Kurhaus spa complex, an historic building lined with frescoes and benches

Day 6:

  • Enjoy a day trip to Heidelberg

  • Take the funicular to Heidelberg Castle

  • Visit the Student Jail

  • Spend some free time exploring the town

 

Day 7:

  • Transfer to the airport for your flight home
