A Starting Point Itinerary

Day 1:

  • Overnight flight to Reykjavik

Day 2:

  • Tour the city of Reykjavik with a guide 

  • Visit the Blue Lagoon

Day 3:

  • Take a trip to the historical museum and study the Islendinger (replica of a Viking ship) 

  • Take a ride into the countryside on the famous Icelandic horses

Day 4:

  • Visit the Icelandic Parliament 

  • Head to the Strokkur Geyser 

  • Spend the night in Fljotshlid and watch out for the Northern Lights (seasonal dependent)

Day 5:

  • See the waterfalls in Seljalandsfoss and Skogafooss

  • Enjoy the majesty of the active volcano in Eyjajallajokull

  • Visit the Solheimajokull glacier and walk over the white & blue ice

  • Spend time at the shore near Vik

Day 6:

  • Visit the state-of-the-art Hellisheioi Geothermal Power Plant

  • Depart for home
