Each year, we meet families who open their hearts and their homes to an international exchange student. Hosting a student is a wonderful  opportunity to provide your child with a chance to make a life-long friend with someone from another culture.

 

For many exchange students, going to a cookout, attending classes at an American school or participating in  after school sports practice is a novelty, an experience they'll remember for years to come. We invite you to share your home and traditions with an exchange student and show them what life is like for an American family.

What is required?

• Any family large or small with high school or middle school aged children

• Share your home and your heart

• Provide meals and a bed (students can share a room)

• Weekends are spent with host families

 

Summer Programs

We offer a variety of hosting opportunities in the summer.  These exchanges are not part of a school-run program, instead, exchange students are  fully immersed with an American family, learning about their traditions, improving their English, and making life-long connections.
