A Starting Point Itinerary
Day 1:

Overnight flight via Ecquador to the Galapagos - Puerto Ayora Island
Day 2:
-
While in Puerto Ayora hike through the Sana Cruz Highlands to see the amazing variety of flora and fauna on display.

Visit the Tortoise Reserve and lunch with the giant tortoises.

Head to the Charles Darwin Station for a visit and enjoy the wonderful Tortuga Bay beach in the afternoon.
Day 3:

Take a day cruise to Bartolome, North Seymour and/or Plazas to see why Charles Darwin found these islands so riveting.

Come up close to the local sea lion and penguin colonies, look at the land formation and the resulting plant life. Bring STEM to life with your students.

Taste the fabulous local cuisine at one of the many local eateries.
Day 4:

Top off the whole trip with a jaunt to the Isabela Islands. Ride horses up the Sierra Negra Volcano and take the opportunity to see the active volcano in action.

Lunch back down at the summit

Finish the day with snorkeling before heading back to Puerto Ayora.

And Now for Something Completely Different
Your visit to the Galapogos Islands can also include a full Spanish language immersion while doing two days volunteer work for the Darwin Station or at the Nation Parks. Alternatively a Master Class in local cuisine could be on the cards for students to try their hand at cooking local delicacies.
