Your tour could also include visiting the pre Columbian ruins dating back to 100BC. Explore the local ruins and study the petroglyphs found in the area thought to be aged 3000 years old.

Perhaps more immersion might be more up your street.  Imagine your students cooking local cuisine with a  Spanish speaking chef or taking a local weaving class.

The world is there to experience - let us take you there!
